Byzantine and Early Christian Art, ca. 300-1500AD
Join art historian, archaeologist, and collector Dr. Steve Gavel for a fascinating lecture series on ancient culture and art. The class will focus on Byzantine and a bit of early Christian art, exploring the regions of Istanbul (Constantinople), Ravenna, Sicily, and Greece. Class size is limited to allow for proper social distancing and all participants are required to wear face coverings.
