What was the Pantone Color of the Year 2020? Classic Blue, a familiar and calming shade of Indigo! There is so much more to find out about the plant, history and process during The Seabrook Island Garden Club Zoom meeting Friday, November 13, 2020 “Indigo in the Lowcountry”, with David and Caroline Harper.
David is Treasurer for the International Center for Indigo Culture which fosters collaboration among growers, dye makers, textile artists, designers, and customers to promote the beauty of indigo as a vibrant part of a resilient economy. Caroline is founder/owner of CHI design indigo and is an indigo grower, producer, natural dyer, textile artist and educator. There will be a short business meeting at 9:45 am and David and Caroline will start their presentation at 10:00 am.
David and Caroline will present information about ICIC and indigo in the Lowcountry.
