Zoom Meeting or a Zoom Webinar?

What is the difference between a Zoom meeting and a Zoom webinar?

With more and more organizations, including SIPOA, using Zoom meetings and Zoom webinars, we thought it might be useful to provide some information on the characteristics of each option.

Zoom meetings are designed to be a collaborative event with all participants being able to screen share, turn on their video and audio, and see who else is in attendance.

Zoom webinars are designed so that the host and any designated panelists can share their video, audio and screen. Webinars are a view-only platform where the attendees cannot see one another and the host cannot see the attendees.
