SIAG Welcomes Laurie Meyer January 25-26, 2021, Workshop

SIAG is pleased to have Laurie Meyer conducting a two-day workshop January 25-26, 2021.

Laurie Meyer has lived and painted in Charleston for over thirty years. A lover of light and color effects in oil paint and watercolor, Laurie challenges herself to create magical elements in each painting she completes.

A primarily self-taught artist, Laurie has also studied with many local and nationally recognized master artists who subscribe to the concept of creating atmosphere and depth in an alla prima method. She has won many awards for her paintings. Laurie is represented in Charleston, SC, by Hagan Fine Art, as well as in Beaufort, SC, and in New Bern and Greenville, NC. You can find her work at www.lauriemeyer.com.

Sign-up for the Laurie Meyer workshop on January 25-26 is in full swing. Laurie is a fantastic painter AND educator when it comes to helping other painters develop their skills. Her workshops are in high demand and are excellent and fun. The workshop will be held at the Oyster Catcher Community Center with limited outdoor and indoor painter stations in accordance with COVID-19 precautions.

The cost for the two-day workshop is $200 for members. These workshops have sold out quickly in the past and space is limited so please sign up ASAP (first come, first served). Contact Bob Le Fevre at rodory@gmail.com to find out if space is still available.
