A request for rezoning of the parcel located at 4455 Betsy Kerrison is on the agenda for the Charleston County Planning Commission scheduled for March 8. The proposed rezoning is to change from current zoning of single family residential 4 (4 units per acre; “R-4”) to planned development (“PD-178”).
The proposed development includes a miniature golf operation (36 total “holes”); bocce ball courts and a café (non-alcoholic beverage service). Contemplated access to the development will be direct from Betsy Kerrison Parkway (Northbound lanes) with right turn entry and right turn exit at the eastmost Betsy Kerrison lane). The rezoning request is voluminous and includes a Traffic Impact Analysis. In addition, the rezoning request includes comments received regarding the proposed rezoning since August 2020.
