A recent column in The Post and Courier highlighted problems people are facing due to sluggish mail delivery particularly when it comes to paying bills. You may think that you are mailing your bills with plenty of time for them to arrive by their due date but the current environment has shown that might not be the case.
To be on the safe side, people are being encouraged to set up bill payment online. In the event that you do receive a late fee reach out to the company and there is a good chance that the fee and interest will be waived if you have a good track record of paying on time.
