When:               May 24 – July 16, 2021 (3 workouts per week for 8 weeks)

Time:                8:30 am – 9:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 

Location:         Outside The Lake House

Cost:                $240 for the series ($10 per workout)

Location:          Zoom Workouts

YIN YOGA SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES

When:               Tuesdays in June

Time:                5:15 pm   

Cost:                $70 for the series

Yin Yoga is a slow, soothing, and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body. In Yin Yoga, floor based poses are held passively for about two to five minutes to work into our connective tissues. The legs, hips and lower back are the main benefits of this practice. The more we work our fascial system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight our bodies become as we age. Movement and stretching hydrate fascia and literally help slow the aging process.

CHAIR YOGA SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES

When:              Wednesdays in June

Time:                2:30 pm   

Cost:                $70 for the series

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support.  Benefits of chair yoga include improved flexibility, better concentration, increased strength, boost to your mood, reduced stress and joint strain. Whether you are recovering from surgery or looking to find an alternative to the up and down motions of traditional yoga, chair yoga can help.

Please note, space in semi-private classes is limited to a maximum of 9 participants. Preregistration is required and includes 3 workouts per week for 8 weeks. Semi-private classes are not included in the monthly class pass, and the fees will be charged to your Property Owner/Club account. No drop-ins or refunds. Semi-private classes and workshops are available to Seabrook Island Property Owners, Seabrook Island Club members, and guests staying on Seabrook Island.
