Independence day, July 4 is on Sunday this year, thus Monday, July 5 is the designated federal holiday. This means most banks and federal offices will be closed. South Carolina also recognizes it as a holiday, so state offices will be closed on July 5 as well.
The holiday hours for the July 4, 2021 weekend are as follows:
SIPOA Offices are normally closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and will be closed all day on Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. They will reopen Tuesday, July 6. Check sipoa.org for office hours.
Town of Seabrook Island Offices are normally closed on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, they will also be closed on Monday, July 5, for the holiday. They will reopen on Tuesday, July 6, with normal hours. Check townofseabrook.org for office hours.
Vincent’s Pharmacy is normally closed on Sundays, but they will be open on Monday, July 5 with normal hours.
Post and Computer Center is closed on Sundays. In addition, they will also be closed on Monday, July 5, for holiday. They will reopen on Tuesday, July 6, with normal hours.
Harris Teeter will be open all weekend, including July 4 and July 5, with normal hours from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm daily.
Trash pickup will run as usual on Monday, July 5.
