44th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run, September 25

Lace up those running shoes and start training! The Cooper River Bridge Run is back!

Cooper River Bridge Run had been postponed from its usual April date due to COVID-19 concerns. It is now scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021. Registration is open. Click here to access the registration page.

The start of the race is at the corner of Simmons and Coleman Boulevard in Mt. Pleasant.  The course goes over the Cooper River Bridge to Charleston, down Meeting Street, and then onto King Street. Shuttles are available to Mt. Pleasant from downtown Charleston.

This is a combined 10K event for runners and walkers. You can register for the Walk/Run category which is the last category in the run and you can walk at your own pace within the 3-hour time limit. The entire race will be capped at 25,000 people.
