Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR), the southeast’s oldest and largest therapeutic riding program, is inviting Seabrookers to visit its 43-acre facility on Johns Island to learn more about the program celebrating its thirtieth year in operation. CATR offers both mounted and unmounted classes allowing adults and children with physical, emotional or developmental challenges to interact with horses in a safe and supportive environment. Visitors will be able to observe classes and ask questions of instructors and volunteers about the benefits of activities offered in partnership with CATR’s team of specially trained horses. To arrange a visit, please contact CATR’s President (and Seabrooker) Norm Powers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
