Seabrook Island Village – Neighbors Helping Neighbors is pleased to announce starting in December we will begin offering a series of sessions for our members and volunteers. All residents of Seabrook Island are invited to attend. These sessions will include an opportunity for socializing with neighbors and participating in presentations on a variety of topics.
Mark your calendars and plan to join us for our first event. The topic is: “Holiday Stress: Signs and Strategies.” Come meet neighbors, enjoy socializing and refreshments, and learn ways to approach the holidays with less stress.
Date: Tuesday, December 7, 2021
Time: 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Place: Oyster Catcher Community Center
Do you ever wonder… Why are the holidays so stressful? What are the signs of stress? Is it holiday blues or real depression? What to do if feeling lonely? What are the best ways to cope with the holidays? This interactive session will answer these questions and more. It will provide an opportunity to see you’re not alone and help you prepare to celebrate the holidays with less stress.
Our presenter, Linda Ligenza, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in private practice as a therapist on Johns Island and is a Certified Life Coach. Linda has had a 25 plus year career in the field of mental health.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free session.
