Alan Fleming Tennis Teams Up With Blessing Basket

The 2022 Alan Fleming Tennis Tournament has chosen the Blessing Basket, one of Sea Island Hunger Awareness Foundation’s (“SIHAF”) programs, as the designated charity for this year’s event.

The Blessing Basket touches so many of our neighbors. Monthly, the program distributes food to approximately 345 families living on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands whose income is below the poverty level. Funds raised through our efforts allow SIHAF to improve the quality of the food baskets with the addition of protein, fruit, and vegetables.

The committee would like to thank those who have donated this year and in prior years. For those who would like to donate and have not done so yet, there are two ways to donate. You can make your donation online at alanflemingtournament.net and click on CHARITIES.

Or you can make a donation by check. Checks should be made out to the Sea Island Hunger Awareness Foundation and Blessing Basket should be noted in the memo area. Checks should be mailed to Fleming Charitable Fundraising, 130 Gardener Circle, PMB-508, Seabrook Island, SC 29455.

For information about the fundraising effort, please contact the Fundraising Chair, Sarah Good, at sarahgood329@gmail.com.  Information on the Blessing Basket can be found at fightislandhunger.org.

News pertinent to the Alan Fleming Tennis Tournament will be noted on the tournament website: alanflemingtournament.net.
