Forty-two members of the Seabrook Island Garden Club gathered at the Oyster Catcher Community Center to celebrate the holiday season with a fun evening of food and fellowship. The tables were decorated with seasonal centerpieces designed by Garden Club members. In addition to an elaborate food spread provided by the board and committee chairpersons, there were champagne toasts, raffle prizes, and gift bags filled with daffodil bulbs ready to be planted.
President Karen Nuttall thanked everyone for their hard work in planning this event and several other holiday events on Seabrook. Garden Club members participated in the annual Seabrook Island Holiday parade, decorated the Christmas tree at the Lake House, and sponsored the holiday Light Up contest on the island.

Upcoming January events include a presentation by Kevin Jones from the Coastal Carolina Orchid Society and the annual Garden Club Winter Open House scheduled for January 29, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Lake House. All Seabrookers are invited to attend the Open House!
