Traffic Coming Onto Seabrook Island

As we all know, traffic can get congested at the gate as visitors come to spend their Fourth of July holiday and summer vacation on Seabrook Island.

Gate House May 2019

Gate pass data shows that the peak hours of visitor arrivals are from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the weekend. During those times, visitors passing through the gate may average over 100 vehicles per hour! Since the Fourth of July is on a Thursday this year, we are expecting volume to be high the weekends before and after the holiday. The rest of the summer weekend traffic may also be busy.

You may want to plan your trips back to Seabrook Island sometime before or after these hours if possible.

Please advise your personal guests, rental guests, and contractors arriving during operating hours to stop at the SIPOA Daily Pass Location to obtain their SIPOA gate pass.
