The Charleston Post & Courier has an online write-up on the award Seabrook Island recently received from the American Shore & Beach Preservation Association for its beach re-nourishment project involving the relocation of Cap’n Sams Inlet.
The project has also been praised by the National Academy of Sciences.
The article includes a reminder of the tour of the project this coming Tuesday, November 15, led by Dr. Tim Kana of Coastal Science & Engineering. The tour begins at the Community Center on Oyster Catcher Court at 1:30 PM and concludes at 3:00 PM. The tour is open to all property owners.
