The Post and Courier published a story this morning, March 22, 2018, about plans Kiawah Island has for the area. According to Kiawah Island Golf Resort President Roger Warren, there will be a new hotel, conference center, wedding chapel, and nature center as well many upgrades and renovations. They should be completed by the time the PGA Championship returns in 2021.
They are calling the project Kiawah 2.0 The Next Generation.
