OLMCO Hosts Golf Tournament

Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach (OLMCO) is excited to announce that the 28th Annual Golf Tournament is on May 10, 2021 at the exclusive Country Club of Charleston in James Island.

Golfers will enjoy a round of golf in a four-player team format, lunch, refreshments, prizes and gift bags followed by an outside cocktail hour with

hors d’oeuvres. Cost is $500 per player or $2,000 for a foursome until registration closes April 30. Foursome teams must pay in full at time of registration. The tournament will have a shotgun start at 1:00 pm, with registration and pre-tournament activities starting at 11:00 am.

All proceeds from the 28th Annual Golf Tournament will go directly to Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach’s mission to encourage and support self-sufficiency and self-worth for people in need in our community through education, wellness and outreach services. During the pandemic, Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach has kept its doors open to serve the increasing need of community members who have lost jobs, lost loved ones and individuals needing emergency food and financial services who never needed them before. This tournament will help enable the organization to continue focusing on helping those who need it most.

“We are only able to help our community when individuals come together and help us change lives. We look forward to an exciting day of fundraising to support the organization. This tournament provides many the chance to make a difference in the lives of those we have are serving, and those who will come through our doors needing help for the first time due to the struggles they are facing because of COVID19,” says Ericka Plater, executive director of Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach.
