After two very long years, Dragon Boat Charleston will once again host its Dragon Boat Festival on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Brittlebank Park, Charleston.
Dragon Boat Charleston is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the physical, mental and emotional health of cancer survivors and their community of supporters through Dragon Boat racing. Seabrook Island will again have a festival team, Seabrook Island Dragonslayers, and we are looking for teammates.
If you have ever thought about trying a sport that involves being on the water, socializing with fun individuals, and trying to race a boat with your teammates against other teams amidst lots of splashing and cheering, this is for you!! No experience is necessary. You will receive two on-the-water practices prior to the festival.
