The Pastel Society of South Carolina (PSSC) is a statewide non-profit art organization, founded in 2016, whose members include numerous accomplished, award-winning artists. Many members are Pastel Society of America Signature artists and/or International Association of Pastel Societies’ Master Circle artists. PSSC’s objective is to promote public awareness of pastel as a fine art medium, provide educational programs for its members and to create opportunities for artists to exhibit their work to the public. PSSC is open to guests and new members. General meetings take place monthly at the Gibbes Museum and are open to the public. Please refer to the PSSC website for the most current info on events and programs.
