SINHG Explores Drayton Hall History

The Seabrook Island Natural History Group will explore the personalities and events that have shaped historic Drayton Hall in a presentation by Dr. George McDaniel, former Executive Director of Drayton Hall. The program will be offered via Zoom on Thursday evening, March 9, at 7:00 pm. Those interested in viewing the program must preregister at sinhg.org/events-page and will receive a link to join the presentation. The link is offered at no charge to SINHG members. There is a $5 charge for non-members.

Dr. McDaniel served as Drayton Hall’s director for more than 25 years and is credited with elevating Drayton Hall’s preservation into an ongoing cultural and archeological research project readily available to the public. His book, “Drayton Hall Stories: A Place And Its People”, was published in 2022 by the Evening Post Press.
