Election day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024. If you are planning to vote in-person, The Lake House will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Check your voter registration and view a sample ballot by clicking here.
If you are planning to vote by absentee ballot or early voting, there are a few deadlines you need to be aware of:
Registration Deadlines
- By mail (postmarked by) – by October 7, 2024
- In-person at local election office – by 5:00 pm on October 4, 2024
- Online – by 11:59 pm on October 6, 2024
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
- Request ballot (received by) – by 5 :00 pm on October 25, 2024
- Return ballot by mail (received by) – by 7:00 pm on November 5, 2024
- Return ballot in person – by 7:00 pm on Novenber 5, 2024
Early Voting Deadline
- Early voting – October 21, 2024 – November 2, 2024 (closed Sunday, October 27)
- The polling locations for early voting closest to Seabrook Island are St. John’s Episcopal Church on 3673 Maybank Highway and Essex Village Church of Christ on 736 Savage Road (off of US-17N).
