Important Parking Information for The Alan Fleming Tournament

Once again this year, we are expecting more than 350 players to compete in the Alan Fleming Tennis Tournament, one of the premier tennis events in the Southeast.  We also expect a number of guests and spectators to visit the island, so we are asking for everyone’s help to make the tournament a great success.

With the addition of five new pickleball courts at the Racquet Club, our parking plans have had to change for the tournament.

Event parking for the Alan Fleming Tennis Tournament will be available at the
Equestrian Center, across the street from the Racquet Club, on Thursday,
October 3 through Sunday, October 6.  There is also limited parking available for Fleming players (only) at the Racquet Club parking lot, located at 1701 Long Bend Drive, as space allows.

To access the Event Parking, enter through the main entrance to the Equestrian Center, located at 2313 Seabrook Island Road.  A parking volunteer will direct you to the pasture across the street from the Racquet Club into available spaces.

Once parked, please exit the parking area through the temporary event gate located near the crosswalk at Seabrook Island Road.

Important: If you are parking in the Equestrian Center’s pasture, you must use
the crosswalk nearby to walk to the Racquet Club. A volunteer will be present to assist you.

Seabrook Island Club members and Seabrook Island Property Owners can also, of course, park in other areas on the island that are typically available for their use.

We also encourage Club and SIPOA members to ride their bicycles to the Racquet Club.  Parking for LSVs will be available for Club and SIPOA members as space allows.  And handicapped parking will remain available as always.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but appreciate your help and understanding.
