A Walk On The Beach November 13

Seabrook Island Beach Restoration and Renourishment began Tuesday, October 1 and much has happened since then. Loads of rocks were moved to the exposed seawall on the beach and tons of sand was delivered and now the sand scraping and transfer has begun.

On October 23, 2024, the Seabrook Island Town Council adopted Emergency Ordinance 2024-01 in an effort to protect beachgoers (and their pets) from hazards resulting from the ongoing sand scraping and seawall repair projects. Click here to read the the temporary beach rules.

Click here to see the pictures, videos, and updates from SIPOA. Please be safe and aware of the surroundings when walking on the beach. During low tide, from Boardwalk 1 to Cap’n Sams Inlet, walk on the high side; from Boardwalk 1 to Boardwalk 7, walk near the water.
