Lanes on Main Road near Route 17 will be temporarily closed over the weekend according to Live 5 News.
Crews from the Department of Transportation will be working on drainage improvements between Morse Avenue and Marshfield Road which will cause temporary lane closures.
Charleston County spokesperson Natalie Hauff advised motorists that Saturday and Sunday between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m are the scheduled times for the work.
The report does not state whether both lanes will be closed at the same time or if they will alternate the lane closures.

I just passed through that area coming back from the airport. traffic is backed up coming to the bridge and off the bridge. They are alternating traffic with one lane being open. That was at 8:45 AM this morning
