Charleston County Parks – Fun Run and Walk – November 11 and 12th

Join us for a two-mile non-competitive fun run and walk and special preview of the Holiday Festival of Lights at James Island County Park. After reaching the finish line, participants are invited to enjoy all that the festival has to offer. Join us for this exclusive preview of the Holiday Festival of Lights. Runners and walkers will be the first in Charleston to experience more than 200 magical light displays. After the 2-mile run/walk, participants are invited to enjoy the festival’s amenities. Registered participants will receive a glow necklace. A registered and paid chaperone is required for participants ages 15 and under. Socialized dogs on a short leash are welcome. Retractable leashes, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and scooters are not permitted for safety reasons. Arrive early; the park will close to all traffic at 6:30PM and will not reopen until approximately 8:30PM.

Where: James Island County Park, 871 Riverland Drive,  Charleston, SC 29412
Cost: $12 per person until November 10. $15 per person on November 11. Ages 2 and under are free, but will still need a ticket. You will be asked at check-out how many children ages 2 and under will be with you. At that time, please enter the amount.
Tickets: Register online or call 843-795-4386. There will be no on-site ticket sales.
Event Details: Event begins at 6:30 p.m. Please plan to arrive early; the park will close to all traffic at 6:30 PM and will not reopen until approximately 8:30PM.
All participants must be preregistered and have a ticket to enter the park. Receipt of purchase will not be accepted.
Tickets can be picked up until 5:30 on the day of the event at CCPRC Park & Program Services, 861 Riverland Drive.
Registration closes when space is full. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
For your safety, bicycles are not allowed.
