On November 21, the Charleston Animal Society will hold its 16th annual Celebrity Chili Cook-off and Oyster Roast to benefit its medical fund. The Cook-Off runs from 1 to 5 PM at the football field at The Citadel (Johnson Hagood Stadium) and admission is $25. In addition to chili, oysters, and beverages, the event will feature a kids’ zone, games, music, and plenty of 4-legged friends seeking new homes. Last year’s event raised $250,000 for Charleston Animal Society and this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better, with 100 teams competing.
