More than 500 nails, a few blisters and lots of laughs….2 out of 4 walls are up! Twelve women from Seabrook Island came together to participate in Women Build. Every year, Sea Island Habitat for Humanity hosts Women Build, a week long event which focuses on women building a safe, decent and affordable home for a family in need of a hand up, not a hand out. This empowering event creates a “we can do it” bond among the Women Builders.
