Golden Bear Realty, a Jack Nicklaus family owned company, has leased the former BB&T bank building at the entrance to Bohicket Marina. The Golden Bear Realty organization was founded in 2003 in Palm Beach County, Florida where it presently has 5 offices and more than 180 real estate professionals. In 2014, the company expanded to the Charleston area with an office in Mt. Pleasant and presently has 21 agents serving the Charleston area. The Seabrook Island office is scheduled to open this summer as permitting and construction are already in progress.
