According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, Main Road is closed to traffic.

The Post and Courier is also reporting that Main Road at Route 17 is closed due to flooding. Their website is: http://www.postandcourier.com/

Thank you for checking. The website still shows the whole road as red which the legend indicates as “Currently closed to Traffic.” They are giving conflicting information.
I don’t think this is correct. I just called DOT and was told the closure is at 17/Bees Ferry only- not all of Main Road.
