LOCAL AUTHOR MARY GLICKMAN, TALKING ABOUT HER LATEST BOOK,
”AN UNDISTURBED PEACE” ON NOVEMBER 1 AT 7:00pm
ARNOLD HALL, COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON
Mary Glickman, a Seabrook resident and nationally known author will discuss about her newest book, “An Undisturbed Peace,” a sweeping historical novel set during the time of the Trail of Tears.
The late Pat Conroy said that the novel was “The finest depiction of the infamous Trail of Tears that I’ve ever read. Glickman turns this to literature by her brilliant portrayal of three unforgettable character. Their story is riveting and Mary Glickman is a wonder.”
The event will take place at 7:00 pm, Arnold Hall at the College of Charleston on 96 Wentworth Street. This event is free to the public.
