Starting on Monday, March 6, SIPOA will begin street sweeping activities to collect the oak leaves that have begun to shed. We collect the leaves to prevent them from accumulating in our storm water pipes and ponds. Street sweepers will be working on the island for the next 5 weeks. We will discontinue street blowing during this time and there will be periods in between sweeper visits where there are leaves covering the road. We thank you for your patience as we work to maintain our storm water system.
