The historic district of Lake City, South Carolina, will be transformed into a living art gallery from April 21-29. Local businesses, restaurants, boutiques, warehouses, parks and more will display over 400 works of art by talented artists from the Southeast.
Photographs by Seabrook Island artists Ted Henderer, Kathleen Pompe, Patricia Schaefer and Stanford Ullner will be featured in this nine-day competition. A panel of art professionals will award over $100,000 in prizes and People’s Choice Awards will be selected by attendee votes.
Commencing in 2013, Artfields celebrates its fifth anniversary in this small Southern town. Each year more educational activities, musical performances, food venues and interactive experiences are offered to visitors. For 2017, an Artfields Dandelion Gala has been added on Thursday, April 27.
