Hebron St. Francis Senior Center Celebration “Food for the Soul” – May 8-12

The Hebron St. Francis Senior Center will be hosting a week long “Food for the Soul” celebration, May 8-12 from 11am to 2pm each day.  The Center is located at 4058 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island.  A $15 donation will be requested.  Proceeds will go to support the Center’s programs.  In addition to this opportunity to eat some great southern style food, you will see some beautiful handmade quilts and hear inspiring gospel music.

Seabrook artist, Mary Whyte, has worked with the women of the Senior Center for many years, several of whom have been the subject of her paintings.  In December 2012, the Island Packet published an article on Mary’s work and these paintings.  Click here to see the full article.

For more information about the fundraiser, e-mail Mary Whyte, sharon@marywhyte.com or call the church at 843-559-0865.
