“On Tuesday, Dec. 12, the modular building that will house KICA’s temporary fitness space is being delivered to the site at 2 Beachwalker Drive (adjacent to the Kiawah General Store). Delivery is expected to occur from approximately 2:45 – 3:45 p.m.
The trucks delivering the building will be escorted to the site by Charleston County Sheriff’s deputies. During delivery, the intersection of Beachwalker Drive and the Kiawah Island Parkway, as well as a portion of Beachwalker Drive at the delivery site, will be temporarily closed. Once the building is safely delivered, these roads will re-open.
As the exact timing of delivery and road closures is subject to change, updates will be shared as available on KICA’s Facebook and Twitter pages.”
Traffic movement may be affected outside the Kiawah gate. Please plan accordingly.
