Once the work is completed, it is possible that potable water that flows from your fixtures may be tinged (brown, rusty or tea colored) from sediment that has been stirred up in the line during work.

This is a normal occurrence when water has been turned off for an extended period of time or when water hydrants and water valves are exercised. If this is the case in your unit, run you faucets until the water is clear.

The water is safe to drink.
