What’s Going On at the Library?

Our John’s Island Regional Library has a wide variety of activities and resources that are available to you and your family members…all you need is a library card. If you don’t have a card,  click here to find out how to get one.

-The library hosts a variety of children’s programs including storytime hours for babies (0-24 months) and for children of all ages (with adult), art workshops, and early literacy programs to name a few. Check the library website to find out what’s on tap each month.  For example, on June 12th at 2 pm, they’ll be hosting the Kids Rock Talent Show, and it’s not too late to sign up your kids/grandkids.

-They can assist you or your book club in identifying books to read (click here).

-They have Knit & Purl, a casual knitting group that meets on Saturdays, and Coffee & Conversation, a social group for seniors.

-The library also hosts exhibits and lectures each month.

So, don’t be a stranger to our John’s Island Regional Library.  Click here to see what is specifically going on at our local branch. To see what’s on offer at the Main Libary on Calhoun Street or any of the other branches, click here.

The John’s Island Regional Library is located at 3531 Maybank Highway just past the Bi-Lo shopping center.  You can call the library at (843) 559-1945 if you have questions about their programs and services.
