We just received notification today, June 10, 2018, 3:30 pm, from Mike Gorski of Island Transportation that there is an accident on Southbound Rt 17 (Savannah Highway) near I-526. Traffic is backed up and moving very slowly.
If you are heading toward the island, you may want to exit I-526 at Glenn McConnell Parkway.
