October at Johns Island Regional Library

John’s Island Regional Library has several interesting activities and programs planned for October. On display is a photography exhibit of Melissa Houle’s series titled  “Changing Light: Reflections of the Low Country.” Featured this month are several presentations including The Right Stuff: Preserving Black History and Culture through Historical Records and Documents on Tuesday, October 2 at 11:00 am and Human Library Series: Get to Know a Refugee on Saturday, October 6 at 2 pm. Through their service “Book-A-Librarian” you can receive one-on-one help with technology issues such as learning how to use downloadable media on your tablet or smartphone.
