The fall schedule of SINHG Trips brought members this month to nearby Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR) to learn about the benefits of horseback riding for special needs children and adults. Members met with CATR’s Executive Director Murray Neale for an overview of therapeutic riding and then observed a class in session under CATR’s covered arena with students from West Ashley’s Camp Road Middle School. The morning visit concluded with meeting Woodstock, one of CATR’s veteran therapy horses. More information about CATR can be found here.
