St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 17, 2019
10:00 am

Welcome to South Carolina’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The day begins at 8:00 am with a celebratory mass at St. Patrick’s Church on the corner of St. Phillips and Radcliffe Street.

Afterwards, downtown begins to awaken with anticipation of the parade kickoff at 10:00 am sharp from the corner of King and Radcliffe Streets. Once 10:00 am strikes the City comes alive with Craic (Irish fun and entertainment). The parade proceeds down King Street and then turns right on to Broad Street.

Once the floats are put away, City Hall celebrates at 11:30 am by inviting Charleston’s favorite Irish sons and daughters for the Tri-Color (flag of Ireland) flag raising at City Hall. After the flag raising, come celebrate with thousands of visitors in some of Charleston’s most historic places.
