We live in a maritime forest with magical live oaks decorated by spanish moss and populated by charming wildlife. But when those trees are troublesome, you need Adrea Hughes.
Adrea is the Engineering and Architectural Review Assistant to Steve Hirsch and Katrina Burrell. She utilizes her B.S. in Horticulture and her Masters of Landscape Architecture (both from Clemson) to review plans for landscaping, tree removal and drainage systems. Adrea started her career as an intern here on Seabrook Island in 2004 but got her first real job in her field working for the Kiawah Island Community Association in the Lakes Department. She started here in 2014 to work in her chosen field of landscape architecture and arboriculture. She lives with her 8 year old daughter, Daphne, on Johns Island where she grows orchids and works incessantly on her house.
In a community such as ours it is important that we are able to access highly qualified and exceptionally competent professionals to help us maintain our beautiful island. Adrea Hughes, certainly fits our needs.
