  • Wildlife Photography Walk – August 10

Drayton Hall Wildlife Photo Walk August 2019

Join Landscape Manager Eric Becker and local wildlife photographer Jerry Bridges on the grounds of Drayton Hall for a bird and wildlife walk around the 125-acre historic core of Drayton Hall’s landscape.

Drayton Hall’s unadulterated and conserved landscape includes the former rice ponds of the 18th century, the historic phosphate mining features and the reflecting ponds. Features in these locations serve as nesting areas, rookerys, and habitats for some of the Lowcountry’s most beautiful wildlife including Black Skimmers, Mississippi Kites, osprey, Anhinga, Great Blue Herons, and of course, our resident adult and juvenile alligators among others.

  • Bridging the Generation Divide in Today’s Workplace – August 20

Magnolia Plantation Neal Glatt Sept 2019

Neal Glatt, a nationally recognized workplace team coach, will show young and old mid-level managers how to effectively bridge the generation gap to solve “people problems” in the office environment.

This four-hour workshop on August 20, 2019 at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is being offered to help Baby Boomers and Gen. Xers understand how to effectively work with Millennials as they rise to management positions.
The sessions will begin at 1:00 pm in Magnolia’s Carriage House. The deadline to register is Friday, August 16.
