The Alan Fleming Senior Open Clay Tennis Tournament (“the Fleming”) was named South Carolina’s Tournament of the Year by USTA. This year’s tournament will be held October 2-6, 2019 at the Seabrook Island Racquet Club. Registration opens on Monday, August 5. To register for this year’s tournament visit www.usta.com. The tournament attracts about 250 players and is the highest USTA amateur level 
competition. Past players have included Collegiate Division 1 standouts, Former Davis Cup players, South Carolina and Southern Hall of fame players and highest ranked national and international amateurs.
Tennis players from Kiawah and Seabrook Islands participate and are among category winners. There are 44 events including singles, doubles and mixed-doubles for men and women ages 35 and up.
