Charleston County Public Library – The Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) is planning for a phased reopening of its library branches. Here are the important dates:
-Monday, May 18, 2020: Book drops at all branches (except Poe) are open. All fines are waived through June and patrons are encouraged to return materials between now and June 8 to allow staff time to quarantine the materials for 72 hours prior to reissuing.
-Monday, June 8, 2020: CCPL locations are scheduled to provide limited in-person services, including the ability to pick up books and other items placed on hold at all locations. In-person programs and the use of meeting rooms will remain suspended, however, virtual programs will continue. These dates are subject to change. For more information visit ccpl.org
