Spoleto Festival at Home

On March 24, 2020, Spoleto Festival USA, a beloved Charleston tradition that has flourished for 43 years, sadly announced the cancellation of the 2020 season due to COVID-19. On May 19, the Festival unveiled plans for 17 days of Spoleto at Home– with free digital and radio broadcast programming for audiences to enjoy in lieu of the 2020 season. General Director Nigel Redden said, “I hope Spoleto at Home programming can bring a small amount of what makes the Festival so special into each of our living rooms, providing a little light in these dark moments.”

The website says, “Tune in for original concerts, best-of Chamber Music hits, and insightful conversations with Festival artists. All programs are free to experience; no tickets required.”

Links for listening and watching will be added to their webpage. Look for more content on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
