    Charles Drayton wrote about a complex hierarchy of skillful enslaved men whose jobs included sailing and caring for boats, transporting people and goods from one plantation to another, and delivering crops to market. Join curator Amber Satterthwaithe virtually at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 28 as she shares her research into the primary documents that demonstrate the magnitude of work done by men such as Patroon Jack and Captain Tim.   • American Red Cross Blood Drive ◊ January 26
    Middleton Place is proud to host another American Red Cross Blood Drive. If you are healthy and feeling well, now is the time to give urgently needed blood. The Red Cross is asking healthy adults to join the blood drive which will be held on Tuesday, January 26 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Pavilion at Middleton Place. To maintain social distancing an appointment is required.
