Cooper River Bridge Run has been postponed from its usual April date due to COVID-19 concerns. It is now scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021. Registration for the event opens on March 25, 2021.

The start of the race is at the corner of Simmons and Coleman Boulevard in Mt. Pleasant.  The course goes over the Cooper River Bridge to Charleston, down Meeting Street, and then onto King Street. Shuttles are available to Mt. Pleasant from downtown Charleston.

This is a combined 10K event for runners and walkers. You can register for the Walk/Run category which is the last category in the run and you can walk at your own pace within the 3-hour time limit. The entire race will be capped at 40,000 people.
