Mayor John Gregg announced on Friday, March 26, 2021 that Seabrook Island Town Hall will be closed through Friday April 2, 2021 as a precaution after a member of town staff tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee began displaying symptoms of the illness on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 and subsequently received a positive test result on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
“The decision to close Town Hall was made out of an abundance of caution to protect the health and well-being of town staff and the public,” said Mayor Gregg.
Town staff will be working remotely during the closure. Individuals needing to conduct business with the town may contact us by phone at (843) 768-9121 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. A drop box will also be available outside town hall.
