
A quorum is essential to transact business at the SIPOA Annual Meeting. Nine hundred (900) votes must be represented at the Annual Meeting, in person or by proxy, to constitute a quorum for the meeting. As of today, only 388 votes have been submitted.
All Proxy Appointment forms must be received by the SIPOA Secretary prior to 8:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Proxy Appointment forms received after 8:00 am on February 18, 2023, will not be valid. If you own one or multiple properties, you are entitled to cast only one vote for each property owned.
Property Owners who submit their completed Proxy Appointment Forms on or before January 31, 2023, will be eligible for one of five $100 Amazon gift cards! Property Owners who submit their completed Proxy Appointment Forms on or before February 11, 2023, will be eligible for one of five $50 Amazon gift cards! Gift cards will be drawn at random from all paper and electronic votes received by the deadline dates.
Reminder emails from announcement@associationvoting.com will start tomorrow and every week until Friday, February 17, 2023, to those who have not completed the voting process. Please take the time to complete the voting process. You must “Preview Your Vote” before you can “Cast Your Vote”. Four hundred eighty (480) property owners started the voting process but did not finish, therefore those votes were NOT cast. If you receive reminder emails, that means you did not cast your vote.
Electronic Ballots were sent to the homeowner’s primary email address from announcement@associationvoting.com, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. If you did not receive the email, please visit, vote.associationvoting.com/sipoa/ and click the help button at the top of the voting site. Enter your name and email and click “Request Help”, and your login information will be sent to you from webmaster@associationvoting.com.
If you are a Paper Voter, you should have received or will receive your voting package via USPS. If you own multiple properties, each property owned will be included on one paper ballot, but the votes will be cast for each property individually. If you also received an electronic voting announcement, you can only vote once per property owned, either by paper or electronically. If you choose to vote using the paper ballot, please mail your signed Proxy Appointment form in the prepaid return envelope prior to 8:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023. You may also drop off the signed Proxy Appointment form at our office at 1202 Landfall Way, Johns Island, SC 29455.
The Seabrook Island Club (SIC) voting process began on January 6, 2023.
The SIPOA and SIC processes are separate. Remember to participate in both!
