The Kiawah Arts & Cultural Events Council is presenting the following events in March:
- Quentin E. Baxter Presents . . . René Marie & Experiment In Truth on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 4:00 pm at the West Beach Conference Center. The third concert of the series will feature award-winning vocalist René Marie with pianist Xavier Davis, bassist Elias Bailey, and drummer Quentin E. Baxter. - Piano Bar – Chris Dodson performs on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The Sandcastle. No tickets are required and there is no charge. Not meant to be concerts, Piano Bars are to enjoy with friends and offer an opportunity to meet neighbors outside your circle for some island socializing. Bring your beverage of choice and a snack to “tide” you over.
- Low Country Voices Featuring Charlton Singleton performs on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 4:00 pm at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Join Lowcountry Voices and Grammy Award winner Charlton Singleton as they bring their musical talents to Johns Island. This is not a performance to miss! Ticket sales start March 13 for Kiawah and March 16 for the public at 9:00 am.
The Town of Kiawah Arts and Cultural Events Council works to enhance community appreciation and involvement in the performing arts within the Town of Kiawah Island and its environs by providing a diversity of planned programs.
